RISE I3 at Global Stone Congress 2025

We’re excited to announce that the RISE I3 project will be featured at the Global Stone Congress 2025 in Greece. As part of the seminar “Building Resilient Innovation Ecosystems for Circular Economy Investment,” RISE partners will present how the project is enabling regions across Europe – particularly less developed and transition areas – to scale circular economy innovations.

Funded by the European Union’s I3 Instrument, RISE focuses on strengthening cross-regional value chains in key sectors such as construction, raw materials, and advanced manufacturing.

Key topics include:

• Bridging the “Valley of Death” in circular innovation
• Building investment pipelines across regions
• The importance of Smart Specialisation Strategies
• Collaborative pathways for sustainable growth

The event will conclude with a collaborative brainstorming session aimed at generating actionable ideas to advance the Green Deal and digital transition goals.

Our Portuguese partner, Cluster Portugal Mineral Resources, will also be presenting their ongoing work in the field of mineral resources.
